Remesh to a Clean Triple Dexel Mesh
A Triple Dexel, GPU-accelerated remesher rebuilds arbitrary
triangle meshes — laser scans, photogrammetry, and CAD
STL exports — into watertight, convergent-modelling-clean
stock bodies with feature edges preserved to sub-millimetre fidelity.
Problems it solves
Inputs that won't import
Non-manifold edges, open holes, duplicated and folded facets,
inconsistent normals, laminar slits — the repair pass clears the
exact defects that strict mesh body importers reject,
so a scan from the shop floor stops being a dead end.
Value it adds
Minutes, not a morning
Skip the hand-cleanup in a polygon editor. Outputs are verified
against importer defect checks before save, edges stay sharp where
they matter, and geometry stays overfilled rather than
undercut — predictable, repeatable, tool-safe.
